Welcome to Interceding For The Nations
Interceding For The Nations is a global Christian ministry dedicated to uplifting and interceding for nations, humanity, governments, and families through the power of prayer. Guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ, we believe that prayer can bring about positive change and healing in our world. Our commitment is to unite believers in prayer, seeking God’s guidance and blessings for all aspects of life.
Our Mission
Our mission is to intercede for nations, humanity, governments, and families through dedicated prayer. We are inspired by John 16:23-24, where Jesus encourages us to ask in His name to receive and that our joy may be full. Through united prayer, we aim to create a ripple effect of positive change and divine intervention.
Our Beliefs
Core Beliefs
- God the Father: We believe in YEHOVAH, the Father and Creator of the Heavens and the Earth.
- Jesus Christ: We believe in the only begotten Son of God, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who died, rose again, ascended to Heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. Salvation is only through Christ Jesus our Lord.
- Holy Spirit: We believe in the Holy Spirit of God, whom Jesus asked the Father to send to us. The Holy Spirit is our Comforter, Helper, and Teacher.
- Baptism: We believe in the baptism of Water by immersion and to be born of the Spirit and water as Jesus said in John 3:3-7. We also believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as written in Acts 2:1-4.
A Journey of Faith
Our History
Interceding For The Nations began in South East London Peckham in 2006. Our ministry operated primarily online and through social media. In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we initiated national online prayer sessions for the UK and the world, which have continued annually. Our journey is marked by a steadfast commitment to prayer and intercession for nations and people worldwide.
Our Ministries
At Interceding For The Nations, we are dedicated to serving different age groups and addressing their unique spiritual needs through our various ministries. Each ministry is designed to foster growth, support, and community within the body of Christ.
Children’s Ministry
- Fostering spiritual growth and understanding in children through engaging and age-appropriate activities. We aim to build a strong foundation of faith from an early age.
Teens’ Ministry
- Supporting teenagers in their faith journey by providing guidance, mentorship, and opportunities for spiritual development. Our goal is to help them navigate life’s challenges with a Christ-centered perspective.
Youth’ Ministry
- Encouraging young adults to live out their faith boldly and authentically. We offer programs and events that promote fellowship, discipleship, and service, helping them grow into mature followers of Christ.
Young Adult’ Ministry
- Empowering young adults to integrate their faith into their daily lives and careers. We provide a supportive community and resources for spiritual growth, leadership development, and meaningful engagement with the world.
Adults Ministry
- Strengthening the faith of adult members through Bible studies, prayer groups, and service opportunities. We aim to equip adults to lead Christ-centered lives and positively impact their families, workplaces, and communities.
Our Convener
Minister Divine Destiny Omoruyi (DD) is a Preacher, a teacher, a writer, a publisher, and Entrepreneur. I believe in Jesus Christ, and I believe he came to this world to do his father our creator Yahweh’s business (Luke 2:49), this is the first and greatest business on Earth, it makes room for all other business in the world.
God is the founder and foundation of Interceding for The Nations and he has made me convener, God is good, faithful, kind, and merciful, so give the whole of you to him because he created all things.
I have passion to minister for Nations, leaders, and Children of God, and I like creative writing. I believe that wisdom and understanding comes from God and he alone can endow an individual or people with wisdom and understanding. The mystery of wisdom and understanding is inexplicable, So get wisdom and embrace understanding. I like to learn, it helps me to know what I should know, and I can learn even from a day-old baby, so keep learning. I like to listen to gospel music and I like to pray. I love the word of God dearly, because the word of God Christ Jesus first loves me.
